I do have my camcorder set to 16 bit. And when capturing it keeps saying 12 bit. So I contactacted Sony who could only suggest reseting the camcorder, which I did with the same results.
So I then tried reloading VS7 multiple times in which one of those times the capturing did say 16 bit, but @ 32k DV/AVI Type 2?
At this point VS7 won't even capture and keeps crashing.
I'm sorry if I'm frustrated and don't know what to do at this point, but is this common practice to lock the topic?
