Have you tried a search in this board; there are probably tens of threads dealing with it?

Have you had any other burning problems?
With WS or any other burning app?
With any other media?
Or is it just -rw?
Have you been able to burn -rw before ok?
When?
Have you made any changes to the machine since then?
I had problems with WS burning with Nero installed on my machine. Removing it fixed the problem, whatever it was. Several other people have also found this, but many don't.

OK, I did a search on burning issues. Apparently there may be a problem with RW blanks if you leave the burning speed on Max. Set it to the lowest numeric speed offered. Another possibility is that the RW blank has been over-used. I understand there is a finite number of times it can be erased before problems start. Can tou burn a ¡ÓR blank?
