Putting a see-thru ring around someone

Post by meshuken »

I'm making a short film clip and I want to bring the viewers attention to a certain figure in the scene by putting a "ring" around him. It's easy to make a filled circle and place it over the figure, but how do I hollow out the center so that you can see the guy?

I was just going to point an arrow at him, but I think it would be more cool to have him "circled"...

Thanks,

M

PS - When I get the video done it should be cool for any aviation enthusiasts here to watch, near my house is an airport that had an old C-47 airplane. The owner donated to the Travis Air Force museum so they sent an Army Guard Chinook helicopter out to pick it up and haul it away - nice stuff!

Meshuken..if memory serves me right, there may be, in the bonus CD, a circle that might meet your quest. Then use the information that sjj1805
gave you.
