Video Studio 10+ - Copying content files from Bonus CD

Post by sidbueddro »

Trying to use content files such as Images or Videos from the Bonus CD to use in either creating a DVD from either a saved VSP file or buring directly to disc. In either case, I receive the Relink error, as it apparently is looking for the content file on the Bonus CD. I have tried to copy filed from the Bonus CD to my hard drive, but the same thing occurs. How can I use or copy these files? Thanks.

Copy the files from the Extra Content, to your harddrive first. Then in VS, create a Library, calling it for example Extra Content Files. Now open that Library, and Load (link) to the files on your harddrive.

It seems that you may have inserted images or clips from the CD, into your project. You will have to link all those images/clips to the ones on your harddrive. Until you do, the VSP (project file) is pointing to the CD.

Hi

Copy the Bonus Cd to your hard drive.
The Cd contains some samples that can be used in Video Studio.

Afaik there are three main folders, Video, Audio and Images
Each containing sub-folders.

The ¡¥Video¡¦ folder contains 3D Video¡XIntroduction----Samples Video

I would create a new page in the library to hold each folder content.
Then import the files to the library.

There is information on the library in VS help. Press F1 and search for ¡¥library¡¦ from the index tab.

Once your files are in the library it is just a matter of dragging them to the timelines

Hope this helps
