videostudio 10 plus has NOT worked in 3 weeks and I have demanded support ever since. I get the run around.

Has VS10 worked previously then stopped working? That would indicate that something may have changed on your system, that affected VS. If not, then you have a faulty install. I know you had to received one of Ulead's standard recommendations, uninstall, and reinstall, but did you do a complete, clean uninstall? Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. When installing make sure you have Admin rights to the profile(s), all background applications/utilities are disabled.
