I've been trying the trial vesion of VS 10, and it seems to do all I need, so now I am on the point of buying the download version. I would have to download it over a dial-up connection, over a couple of nights. Does anyone know if the server involved allows resuming downloads? Also how long is the downloading link active?
I'm in New Zealand.

Hi Colin,
No Ulead's server does not support download resuming. What you need to do is get a download manager, like Getright http://www.getright.com/, that supports pausing and resuming. The download links are generally good for about 10-15 days.

Thanks vidoman. I must admit I was/am confused about whether it is the server or the download manager which sorts out resuming, but if GetRight will do it, that's fine.

I just downloaded MF 5 plus and all the extra content, almost a 1 GB download in total, with a download manager available here http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
It went without a hitch and didn't take me half an hour all up on cable.
