I have purchased this product online and have downloaded it twice now including the SP 1. I have installed it with Nortons both activated and disabled.
I have installed and uninstalled the product a number of times and have followed the process as outlined in the forums - i.e deleting all the leftover files in the registry etc. I have followed the setup as recommended in the user manual and forums to no avail.
When I install the product it states that everything is okay and brings up the first screen, however when I select the VS editor or Movie wizard the screen disappears and doesn't even show in the task manager.
I purchased the product to make some dvd's for xmas and this is so frustrating!!!!! Can anyone please help - I've sent a couple of requests to the support area however have heard nothing back ...........
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve and welcome.
I see from your system profile you are a little light on resources but that shouldn't at least let you start the program.
Rather than trying to find what is conflicting follow this link and set up a separate hardware profile. It will reduce your running background services running from around 30 to about 13 and greatly reduce the chances of something conflicting with VS.
