DVD +R DigitalMovie

Post by Bimbing »

I am using VS10+. and since my blank DVD +R media ran out, I "burned" my project on the hard drive first. When checking available Verbatim DVD +R disks at Speed 8x, I found one type called DigitalMovie . The description says "DigitalMovie disc design looks like a movie reel".
Could any one help me what "looks like a movie reel" means. Is this just for advertisement purposes when in fact, the disks are just like anyother regular +R disk? Thanks, Bimbing

A simple Google search would have led you here.
The face of the DVD just looks like a movie reel.

I've used these for DVD's I made for family and friends. They really look cool, and the quality has been excellent (Verbatims).

I got a couple of 10-packs in the super jewel box (the dvd holder is clear and looks professional holding the dvd disc that looks like a movie reel).

I also got a couple of 25-packs (on a spindle) from Bestbuy for ~$7ea (on sale -- they were only 4x, which is fine with me because I prefer to burn at 4x anyway)

Regards,
George

Black Lab, I did found that Google search but the info did not help me at all. In my post I included part of the description "Looks like a movie reel". The picture shows also a movie reel, so I was not sure if the disks are different than the regular DVD disk. That's why I posted the question.
