New problem with still image capture

After successfully capturing still images two weeks ago with my new Canon XH A1, today when I went to do it, the images all rendered into my still image folder as lo res black and whites! I'm using the Project mode and the "Capture current frame as still image" which worked fine before...any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

The File Menu / Preferences / Capture tab has quality and format settings that control the quality of still images when captured. Set to 100%. Also, if your video is interlaced, check the deinterlace box. In the EDIT tab, set resampling quality to BEST and Keep Aspect Ratio.
