PhotoExplorer 8.5 won't close cleanly

Does anyone have a problem whereby PhotoExplorer 8.5 doesn't close cleanly?

When I close PhotoExplorer there is still a Pex.exe item running in Task Manager.

If I were to launch PhotoExplorer 5 times and close it 5 times then I have 5 Pex.exe items in Task Manager still running.

Tech support blamed it on lack of disk space (I have over 200GB of free hard disk space) and/or to disable Norton AntiVirus.

My PhotoExplorer 8.5 is OK.

Do you have any audio/video CODEC packs installed in your system??
