I am somewhat mystified as to what your problem has to do with Video Studio. Are you able to play your file in Video Studio at all (are you actually using version 6? If not, then what version?) If so, tell us exactly what you are doing and what your computer set-up is.
But if you have an AVI file (produced in Video Studio or with Virtual Dub??), are you now trying to play it in Windows Media Player?
As I remember a cute little robot saying in some film or other: 'Input. More input' ... please.
