HDV capture issue

I don't usually worry about HDV capture off of my Sony Z1. Just slows things down when making a normal DVD. But I wanted to capture some stills off of some video and so wanted the highest quality and number of pixels to work with but when I tried switching to the HDV plugin I got an error message about not being able to find it.

Any idea where I might look?

Did you switch the cam over to HD output as well?? MSP will only see it as a dv cam if you do not switch over.

Hah! That was it.

While I had the HDV / DV output on auto, the iLink convert was on DV. Damn these menus. Too much to remember.
