imposible to start VS 10

Hello All.I Have been reading your forom for hours.Looking to solve my problem.Have turned to tech.support.Waiting for a new download.THIS IS A PROBLEM:Bought a upgrade(from VS9) VS10+.Recieved basic software,bonus and some more.
Uninstalled VS 9.Installed new software(VS 10).As it opened and asked for video editing,Microsoft anaunces that it has to close the program.After many trings,unsucsesful experiments I uninstall VS10.
Installed VS 9(which worked perfectly before) and recieved same reaction from Microsoft.
After reading inyour forum I cleaned all the bits and peaces left of VS 10,VS9
and am waiting for a new download,for Ulead people think problem is with the
downloaded file.BUT WY WAS MY VS 9 REJECTED TOO.
I did similar thing on my Laptop.Same problem only after uninstalling VS10,installed VS9 and it works well???!!

Thank U for a help.I have looked to this isue and did according to the sugestion.I also organised special VideoStudio profile as a read on your forum.Also dowloaded new VS10 file.Installed it(turning antivirus off).
RECIEVED MICROSOFT MESSAGE :it has to turn the program off.
Do You have additional sugestions.I refuse to believe tha I cannot use it.
I was very happy with VS9.!!

This could also be a hardware issue you know. Did you test your memory modules? Do a scan disk on your HDD. It could be that the installer tries to write to a faulty memory area or hard disk cluster. This is in all probability not a VS problem but windows.

Check your hardware thoroughly.

PLEASE HELP!!Nothing helps.!!I UNINSTALLED VS10 AND INSTALLED BACK VIDEOSTUDIO 9,WHICH WORKED WELL PREVIOUSLY(before vs 10).
It cannot work.Recieve same microsoft message.What HAS HAPENED AND HOW CAN I FIXE IT

Hi Did you have this problem before or after you created the 'Video Profile'.

Have you tried 'System Restore' to a point before you un-installed VS9.

Vary sorry for a for such a long delay.Thanks for a restore idea.I fixed
VS9 problem and it is working again.BUT I AM AFRAID TO INSTALL My VS10.WHAT MESURES DO U SUGGEST.I have made special VSediting rofile as it was sugested.But honestly I am not shure which programs can I disable.Is there any list that I can use as a guide for it.In any case before I do anything I will make a Ristore point.DadoB
