Change 4:3 window to 16:9

In VS 9 - when capturing from camcoder shot in 16:9, the capture preview window stays 4:3 making the image stretch vertical to fill entire window.

Shouldn't the screen size change automatically to 16:9, especailly when I select 16:9 on strat-up splash screen, or is there a way (I looked at Preferences and Project Settings, but maybe missed an option) to have the preview screen display 16:9.

In edit mode, the 4:3 screen puts in the black bars top & bottom to display 16:9 in proper aspect.

Pinnacle Studio's preview screen size changes to 16:9 automatically.
