I've searched and searched for the answer to what must be a common question but didn't find the answer.
I'm putting clips in the timeline and setting the zoom to the maximum value, but I do not see the individual frames of my clip in the timeline as shown in the documentation. Instead what I get is the first frame followed by a gray box that extends the length of the clip.
I've tried clips from VS10 itself, as well as DV clips and HDV clips. Nothing works.
I assumed that there would be a Preference to control this but I wouldn't find anything that looked correct.
What obvious thing am I missing?
VS10+ timeline does not show frames
