Post by bliaker »

Hey, so far i've been unable to use the videostudio 7 SE bundled with my Compro Tv card. I tried the update pack with the same results. I have windows xp sp2 . What happens is it crashes after i see the splash screen with the lady with the camera.

Anyone else have this problem?

thnx in advance, blake

Dear neil,

Please try this suggestion:
1. Log-in as Administrator and make sure that your DMA is enabled. Change your display properties to 1024x768 high resolution.
2. Purge or delete all files/folders in C:\Windows\Temp
3. Remove VideoStudio 7 from Control Panel: Add/Remove Programs.
4. Delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems directory.
5. Reinstall VideoStudio 7 again.
6. Download and install the VideoStudio 7 Update Patch (Build Number: 7.01, Released Date: 2003/04/29) from this site:
http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs_ftp70.htm

While working with VideoStudio, it is recommended that you close all applications running including the anti-virus. Remove Screen Savers or Wallpapers. Defrag regularly. Although your computer memory is enough, still, good buffering method can improve your computers performance.
