I would like an option to change the default button on the main menu. When the DVD is boots up I would like to make the default button open to a chapter menu. Now the default button is always the "play" button. That starts the DVD from the very beginning.
Sadly there is no such option in MF, and no auto-activation of any button either.
Search this forum for pgcedit (freeware) which normally allows you to do this as well as auto-activation, if you "burn" to a folder first.
After modifying the IFO in the folder, you can burn a DVD from the folder.
But note that the menu structure in the IFO file created by MF uses a strange series of branches... it is possible that this will not easily allow you to set chapter entry as a default without modifying more. I'm not sure.
Auto-activation for the Play button is no problem.

The weird thing is that this changed with v5. I have several DVD's that I made with older versions that the main video menu is the default button. Therefore, pressing play upon boot up of the DVD takes the user to the chapter menus. With the latest version, the play button is default.
