VS7SE: The title won't follow the video...

Post by bono »

hello,

please help me in the following problem...

in a project that have titles in it, so it is almost ready, but I need to change it a bit, and I cut a clip out from the begginig, then the titles won't follow my videos. So it seems to be that the titles are not connected to videos to "follow" them wherever they "go".

in a big project it is very hard to check and fix/correct all the titles to be again in the right place.

This problem occours only when I cut a video that is before a title or titles. So in these cases all my titles will be on wrong places..

is there a way to fix this bug, or to say to a certain title to be glued to a video clip?

I put service pack 7.01 but this bug is still there.

I have: Video Studio 7 SE

please help me

best regards,

bono

It is not a 'bug' -- simply the way the program operates. VS 8 does the same, though there you can 'bulk move' a variety of things to coordinate with the video.

Anyway. the fact that titles can get out of place because of later editing is really also a reason to leave inserting titles till the last operation before producing your final video file.
