Converting MOV files

Post by sjj1805 »

I have received the following private email:
Hi Steve, I contacted you in Sept this year 2006 re the mov patch. I downloaded it then and it seemed to work fine. I tried to convert another mov file recently and it failed ..resulting in the project version running far too slow, whereas the clip version runs fine.

I have forgotten the steps ...I downloaded the file uvqt.vio and then once inside Unlead, I used the batch convert process to convert the mov file to an avi file. Result using the avi file in project mode was that it ran the same as the mov file in project mode ... far too slow. Gee what am I doing wrong!! Do I have to load up the file or run it somehow?

It worked fine in Sept but doesn't now. I have reloaded Ulead (Version 9) and the vio file again, still with no change. Could you please step me through the process to convert a mov file again?

cheers from Ron
