Hi --
My laptop (Windows XP / Media Player 10) is telling me that I need a compatible DVD decorder.
Any info and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Though this is not really a Ulead problem, MP10 usually uses a DVD decoder provided by another DVD software player on your computer. In my case, I use Cyberlink's PowerDVD player, and the freeware Windows XP Video Decoder Check-up Utility (from the Microsoft site) tells me its decoder is fully compatible with MP10 and Windows Media Center edition. It is set (by Microsoft) as my preferred decoder.
The only other one which is compatible with MP10 is an InterVideo one. As you may be aware, InterVideo took over Ulead last year and has more recently been swallowed up by Corel. But I assume that decoder was installed on my computer as part of the free InterVideo WinDVD which comes as a freebie in the VS10+ package. So if you haven't installed all the bonus features of your package, look for that one.
