Input different Language

I have english version Videostudio, does anyone know how can I input Japanese on Title page?

If you have any programme on your computor which will display Japanese characters try creating your title in that and then use copy and paste (Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V) to put the title in the preview screen after you have double clicked in it.

If that does not work then try creating your title in a grahics package and output it as a .jpg or .bmp and import that into UVS into one of the video tracks.

I know from experience I can input Cyrillic language in my titles. However, this font appears in the font list on my computer. I don't know if Japanese characters are handled this way.

Entering Japanese text will require you to have Japanese language support installed for Windows, and then invoking the IME (Input Method Editor). This is a small window where text can be entered in kanji, hiragana, or katakana. For more information, see:

i have the same problem too. but when i type chinese/japanese characters they appear as ???. is that a patch for this? i'm adding subtitles to a chinese video so it would be crazy if i have to export them as *.jpg files..
