I have had problems in the past with this and I seem to remember a work around (something like burn at 90%) but, unfortunately, I can't remember it right now and I am ready to burn a slideshow.
Help is appreciated from all of you who use this product more than I do.
Compensating for cut off at top and bottom of show

Your problem has got nothing to do with the program you use to create your slide show. It is caused by the overscan area of your TV screen. 10 to 15% of the image area on each side will disappear into this. The actual amount depends on the TV and will vary between different TV sets.
You can only compensate for that by modifying the images. Make sure your subject does not fill the full screen or put your images on a larger canvas, thus filling the over scan area with background canvas rather than parts of your image.
Unfortunately, this cannot be done in PictureShow. You will need an image editing program for that.
