Last evening, I attempted to create a DVD-Video without including the "project files".
3 times the burn process failed when I unchecked this option.
As soon as I checked "include project files" the burn process was successful.
Any idea why this is happening?
I have made 6+ DVD-videos from analog tapes 90min to 2hrs long each, with no issues when I include the project files. The process hangs/fails when I choose NOT to include the "project files".
Thanks

When the project is finished, and you are ready to burn, there is an icon at the bottom for "More burn settings" (icon with a disk and an I).....
Under the "More burn settings" page, there is an option to include "project file" on disk.
You can either leave this item checked, or unchecked.
Every time I unchecked this option, the burn process would hang. Once I re-enabled this option, the burn process would complete.
I am using DVD MF 5.

It hangs during the conversion process and not the burning. Yes, I am running XP Sp2.
And as I said, as soon as I ENABLE "burn project file to disk", the process works flawlessly.... the only problem is when I try to exclude the project file from the disk.
By the way, I have now converted 10+ analog tapes at 90min up to 2hr each with great results, and love DVD MF5. (Of course, ALL have the project file included...lol)
