Personalised Audio Feature - A Problem

Post by Col35 »

Help me please!

I am in desperate need of advice as I am trying to create a slide show for my wifes forthcoming birthday party with pictures of her growing up.

I have collected pics - no problem - although every time I try to add my own music (whether it be from an MP3 file, Microsoft Media File or My Music) it will not allow me to drag the file across or insert them into the programme - it's saying "incompatible files" or words to that effect.

Am I doing something clearly wrong!??

I bought this programme as it appeared really easy to use and the step by step approach was one that appealed. (I am no computer expert!)

I think I am following all directions as set out - but the only audio I can get to go on to my slideshow is the pre-set music - however I want to add one or two of my wifes favourite tracks.

Any ideas??!!!

Many thanks!

Hi,

I assume you're trying to insert audio by selecting "Audio & Effect" on the "Slideshow" tab of the "2 Theme" UI. If so, you should be able to remove any existing audio from your show and replace it with your own file(s). If for some unknown reason your mp3 files aren't working, try converting them to WAV (with a 3rd party app) before adding them to your project.

Many thanks for your help.

I will attempt this when I get home from work -

Just a quick query - is there a maximum length of music track that can be used?

Each track is approximately 4 minutes long - I want to use 2 or 3 tracks.

Do you think that this is OK!?? It wouldnt be that that's causing the problem would it?

Best regards

I'm not aware on any track length restrictions. To be honest, it's been a while since I created a show with PS4 but if I recall correctly, the software will fade the audio track (regardless of length) at the end of your presentation, or you can opt to sync the image content to the length of your audio track(s).
