There are several different "flavors" of the *.mov format. Ulead did release a patch for VS10 addressing the *.mov format.
First where did you get the files? From a digital still camera, internet? I have a digital still camera, (Kodak Easyshare P880) that uses the *.mov format, and the MJPEG codec.
There should have been some software included with your digital still cameras. Try installing that software. Kodak's software installed the codec, that VS uses. So far I have not had any problems with VS and that MOV format.

Patch for v10
I got this .mov file by converting an mp4 file to an mov file in Quicktime Pro. Ulead 10 Plus can create a mp4 file but it cannot seem to read them ones I have so I converted them in Quicktime. But that is when I ran into the problem with the mov file. Ulead reads it fine but when I go to edit it or render it the video disappears and I can only hear the sound.
You mentioned Ulead releasing a patch, where do you get these patches from Ulead?
Thanks
