Mask plugin?

Post by Berit »

Is there any plugin available for masking in PI. Seems as those I can find work
for PS only :?

PI has excellent masking capabilities. You can make your own also.

Well I done a couple of searches using Google, on keywords like "knockout" and "plugins" and came up with a few links:

Contrast Mask Plug-in

Plugin-Pimp

Twisting Pixels

The Plugin Site

Most plug-ins that are PhotoShop Compatible should work with PhotoImpact...

Thank you vidoman. I did not find what I was looking for, - but I did find a lot of other useful stuff :)

I quess if noone on a PI forum knows about a mask plug-in that works with PI, - there probably isn't any.

Knockout will not work with PI. You can get some plugins designed for PS to work by ensuring you have plugin.dll on your system from a Adobe trial piece of software.

You will find a tutorial on doing this here

However I do know Knockout wont work.
