PI12 Extra components install error

Hi,

I've successfully installed PI12 french trial version on my computer (upi12_tbyb_(f).exe)

I've downloaded the french extra components pack (upi12_contents_(f).exe) but it can't install !

I've the following error message :
"Impossible de trouver Ulead Photo Impact 12 sur votre système ou bien la version installée n'est pas prise en charge"
=> "Can't find PI12 on your computer or installed version not supported"

but the website says that this optionnal pack is intended for all versions of PI12, included the trial version...

does anyone know this issue and know how to resolve it ?

You can install them after you pay and unlock the TBYB version to full version.

Some people might tell you to buy the full version directly to avoid some TBYB issues, if you decide to buy it.

Yeah, but the site says it is free for all versions of PI 12 including TBYB version

I've tried the english version, the optionals components work fine. why the french version doesn't ?

I have a similar problem - but only with the English component(e), Cool 360 and Photo Explorer additional files, - every other one - textures, paper, objects etc installed fine. As I really like the component designer in PI10 - I was looking forward to seeing the new stuff...

PE and Cool 360 are no big deal - but I wish my componnts pack would install...

Have tried complete uninstall, regedit, fresh reinstall as suggested - and only these files won't go. I did see mention of what looked like a combination pack - pi12(E)extra_content.zip but can't find it anywhere?
