I have been trying to import clips from a DVD and get the message: DVD disc with CSS protect. So, I'm unable to obtain the clips.
Does anyone know what this means?
Do I need a DVD ripper to override that code?

CSS protection is what it says it is PROTECTION.
This means that the owners of the discs wish to protect their copyright.
Should anyone post here any methods designed to circumvent such copyright protection the moderators WILL immediately remove that post and issue a warning to the poster concerned.
