I would like to display a motion button showing the first few seconds of the vid as a preview, but make it unselectable for the user.
Right now the problem I face is if I disable the link attribute under Option Panel->Button->Playlist, the button refuses to recognise it as a motion button and deselects the Motion button option.
I'm faced with a situation whereby the preview vid itself can be selected and highlighted and actually activated so that they will be watching a 10sec clip full screen, which is undesired.
Please help, cheers.
Disable linking in motion buttons?

Sometimes ignorance is bliss. I didn't know this was difficult. I frequently create a small looping clip and bring it into DWS then, when making a menu I select an oval shape or heart shape and drag my clip into it. It plays as a first play motion with no problem and with nothing selectable.
Am I misunderstanding something here?
