Finalizing a disk (DVD-RW)

This is the answer I received regarding adding additional slide shows to a DVD-RW.'

"By not finalising the disk when you burn your show. If you finalise the disk, even though it is a RW one, the session is closed and cannot be reopened. "

How does one not finalize a disk?

I think they're suggesting you save all of your projects and then add them to the DVD-RW in one session BEFORE finalizing the disc. Once the DVD-RW has been finalized (for viewing purposes) you would have to reformat the disc (erase all of the content) before it can be reused. PS4 does not function like packet writing software.
