i am not sure if this has been answered already but i did a search already and i couldnt find a discussion about this one yet. i recently installed boris red as plug-in to ulead vs8 and then decided to un-install it (boris red). the thumbnail of boris red, however, remained on my effects thumbnails library and everytime i click on it vs8 crashes. how do i remove that thumbnail? can i remove the other effects thumbnails i see there (because there is one effect which already has two thumbnails)?

If your system crashes when you left click to select a thumbnail try RIGHT clicking over the thumbnail and selecting Delete from the pop-up.
Normally you can remove thumbnails from a library pane by selecting them and hitting the 'Delete' key on your keyboard - read the prompts carefully. You can multiple select using "Shift-Click" and "Ctrl-click" just as in any window environment.
