DVD doesnt run smoothly

Post by hanskru »

Hi VS friends,

Using VS10 since May 2006.

I have created a Video file according to the recommended procedure.#
Then I started created disc and burned the disc.
When I play the disc it doesn't run smoothly, but hangs, sound is distorted.
When I preview the created video file it runs OK.
Never had this problem before.
Other DVD plays OK.
Video file properties: MPEG-2 Video, lower field first
40.893 frames
24 bits, 720x576, 16:9
25.000 frames/sec
variable bit rate

I burned disc several tiem, but every time it doesn't run smoothly.

Hi

Are you capturing your video using firewire.
Selecting DV as the capture format, does DV remain as the capture format?

From file ¡Vpreferences-tick¡XShow messages when inserting first¡K¡K¡K.
Start a new project
Connect camera via firewire
Choose Dv-Type 1 from the ¡¥Options¡¦
Capture to DV format.
A short capture will do

After capture a window prompts you to change the project settings to match¡K
Select ¡¥details¡¦
Copy and paste the info in the right pane (Video Properties) to the forum.

You haven't mentioned the bitrate used, only that it was variable. What is the max bitrate? Many players choke on anything above 9000 kbps.

Hi

For more information:--Right click on the clip in the timeline and select properties.

After editing you should render the project to create a new file.

Share Create Video File¡Xselecting Pal-Dvd (do not use the mpeg option)
