Video playback problems AFTER installing Video Studio 10

I play various .mpgs from off the web and view them in Windows Media Player.

I just installed Video Studio 10, a couple days ago, and now when I try to play a .mpg or any other video file from off the web, it opens it Windows Media Player as usuall, BUT the video stalls on the opening frame, THEN the audio of that video still plays like normal.

Somehow I am guessing, during the installation of Ulead Video Studio 10, it messed up some setting on my system to cause this.

Has anyone encountered this issue, or have any tips to resolving it?
