Mixing Movies and Photos

Post by fantom_fenom24KB »

Hello. I couldn't mix movies and photos in the same slideshow or chapter, watever you call it. I want to mix photos and videos into one chapter (or movie). And also when I mix 2 videos into one, and it froze.

Can you please help?

THanks

First of all - you need to get your terminology straight. Start by spending a few minutes to understand the differences between titles and chapters then how this product renders them...without that basic DVD know-how no product will help. In any event, "movie" is not a real term.

In short, there are probably a million reasons why "it froze" - a few of which could be a product issue. However, my experience is as follows:

I was able to download the trial version of MF5 then create a DVD with one Title composed of 4 Chapters. Chapter 1 being a .jpg photo slideshow presentation with custom audio from a .MP3 file. The other three Chapters were video. Each of the three video Chapters were actually composed of anywhere from 1-6 individual .mpeg files that were "joined" to create the Chapter.

This DVD (written to a DVD R-) plays well on a number of different DVD players (Sony, Toshiba, and Panasonic).

Yes you can do this...

1.Create your Slideshows
2.Insert a video file
3. In the timeline place the video file between the 2 slideshow files
4. Select (highlight) all 3 video clips.
5. Press the Join button.

Now your slideshows are joined to the video clip.
