photo express 3.0 se" twain error"

I've been trying to get pictures out of this captureview for sometime now and I'm getting alittle discouraged that I get a "twain error" message when I try the "acquire" button. I've changed USB cables, I've downloaded the drivers, Meade and Ulead. I'm at a loss of what to do, to acquire pictures. Can someone help, a big THANKS in advance. Will wait for reply.
