Activation fails for Photo Impact11

I installed Photo Impact 11 on my new Laptop and the activation failed. I went to online support and they generated a new activation key for me, but it still fails when I try to copy and paste the key into it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Try doing a clean re-installation

The clean re-installation will not reset the activation mechanism. If you still get activation issues, contact Ulead Tech Support. If Ulead Tech Support cannot help you, you need to do a hard disk format and do a clean re-install for Windows.

The activation mechanism is been removed in PhotoImpact 12 so you will not have activation issues with PI 12.

Thanks, Steve and HT. I'll try the clean reinstall I downloaded the procedure and will need to tru it tonight. H.T. I did contact Tech Support and they had re-generated an activation code for me, I had tried it without the clean re-instal and it had failed. So now I'll try it with the clean re-install. I'll let you both know what happens.

Ulead Photo Impact 11 now works, tech support issued another activation. The first one issued didn't work, but just plugging in the latest activation code activated it with out reinstalling.
