Patch is not applicable to free trial download versions. You must have the full program. Sorry.

That seems to suggest that there is an 11.7Mb patch specifically aimed at the VS10 TBYB version.

I always find it amusing that a trial version limited to 30 days has a patch!
I wonder why Ulead don't simply apply the patch and place the patched trial version on the download site.

Seems a much simpler solution to me and would probably also spare some of their bandwidth because there wouldn't be all those users having to download the patch to go with the freshly downloaded trial version.

All this, of course, does not help the original poster who cannot install this patch.

scottfleet, what exactly is happening when you try to install this patch?

Could this be a patch specifically for folks who downloaded the trial version, and then chose to purchase/activate it? It has been several weeks since I've been to the forum, but the last time I was here, there were complaints from TBYB customers who had activated their copy of VS 10, but couldn't get the SP1 patch to work with it. At the time, Ulead offered only one version of the patch.
