cannot open jpg in ulead videostudio 10

Post by PhilG »

Hi!

I created a .jpg logo from a .psd file. Now I'm trying to add it in but will not, a message pops up and says that it is a unknown file format or copy protected!!!

What should I do?

Thanks to all who answer.

Is it a progressive jpeg ? I don't think that VS will allow progressive jpegs. If you still have your PSD file, try saving it as a standard jpeg, and see if you can insert it. You could also try using the PNG format.

Ok, now this is strange,... :?

How are you trying to insert your image? Are you right-clicking on a video track and choosing insert image file? (I think you probably are, but have to ask).

I noticed recently while working on a project, while in my video editing profile, if I try to use certain file types that are saved to my other profle, VS will balk. My video editing profile/user is set to a Limited account. The way I got around this is to temporarily change it to an admin account.
