Live cam effect

Post by forefront »

Hi,

I've some footage that I wish to create a "live from the scene cam" effect on - put a red "REC" and flashing dot on screen and a date/time stamp. The original footage does not have this.

Any ideas how I may achieve this, please?

Thanks!

In VS10+, if you have loaded all of the bonus material there is a object or frame that features that effect. :)

I don't remember which directory exactly, but I think it was called images. there is a button for it on the installer that opens up the different directories. I believe there are four or five. I had to copy them over manually and then import into vs 10.

If I remember right, it is either a frame or object decoration with a .png extension not sure which one it is but they are labelled something like frame01.png and so forth.

I can take a better look when I get home from work if you are still having trouble finding it.
