I opened a support case very few times in the last years. In the past I don't remember getting any replies. My saved mails don't have any either.Does anybody know if this is their usual behaviour?
In a current case (November) I received a reply to my 2nd attempt, which surprised me. And I was given a link to a patched download that corrected my issue. Maybe it depends on which region the report goes to? Or maybe it depends on the complexity of the issue? In my 2nd attempt I provided a fool-proof way of reproducing it, including file names and messages.
Ulead offers trial versions, so I checked it. I purchased after the most important problems were fixed, knowing not to rely on support. The price allows this decision if the product does what you need it to do.
I had problems and miserable support from a different company a few years ago that made their product unusable for me. They are banned forever by me, no matter what comes out and what offers they send.
