VS: Independent Control of Titles

Post by Phil S »

I'm sure I've read this on here somewhere but I've done a search and can't find what I'm looking for, so pardon for asking this if it's been covered before.

I'm using VS10+ and wanted to put more than one title on the screen and have independant control over each.

ie. Have one title on the screen then fade in and out a second title while the other remains on there.

It seems that there is only one titletrack and no other track will accept a title. Multiple titles doesn't seem to let you adjust the timing seperately for each one.

Can this be done?

1. First of all, make sure Multiple Titles is selected on the Title>Edit tab.
2. Double click inside the Preview Window and type in your title.
3. Double click somewhere else in the Preview Window to add another.
4. With a title selected, open the Animation tab and select Apply Animation.
5. Choose the Type of animation from the drop-down menu.
6. Click on the "TT" to modify the animation.
7. Adjust the Pause Duration with the sliders underneath the Preview Window (this feature is only available for certain animations).

Follow steps 4-7 for each title.
