multi-trim in Worshop just like Moviefactory3 possible ?

Post by mrhata »

I just got the full version of Workshop 2.0 and am having a tough time editing imported video. Basically I need to edit out a lot of scenes.
I used the trial version of MovieFactory 3, and that had an easy feature to "multi-trim". Is this possible in Workshop 2.0?
It seems I can only cut out the beginning and ends of a video.
Wheres the trim and edit feature of workshop like it says in the reviews?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can only trim the ends.

Workshop is not really an "upgrade" to movie factory. It's a special-purpose DVD authoring program. It's intended to be used along with a video editing program like Video Studio. DVD authoring is normally done after the movie is done. (There is some overlap between programs... Video Studio can do simple DVD authoring.) Maybe you can continue to use Movie Factory for your editing.

It's too late if you've already purchased the full version, but there is a "Special Upgrade" version of DVD Workshop Express available for $150. It works if you have Movie Factory or Video Studio installed on your computer. (I bought Video Studio and the special edition of Workshop Express together for $250.)

BTW - I've been very happy with Workshop Express, but Video Studio has problems editing MPEG files (which really aren't supposed to be edited). I had to buy another Video Editing program.
