Capturing Video/Editing/Burning DVD

Post by jdp1955 »

I have a Sony HC1 HD video camera and a new IBM laptop. I would like to capture video off of the HD tape, edit it, and then burn DVDs with the completed project.

I have read through all the forums and have learned tons.

Please advise as to which product may suit me best and I do have access to a Toshiba HD DVD player.

Thanks so much, Jim P.

If not much video editing but just disc authoring/burning, you can try Ulead DVD MovieFactory.

http://www.ulead.com/dmf/

If you wish to do video editing and do simple disc authoring, you can try Ulead VideoStudio.

http://www.ulead.com/vs/

Both products can support HDV capturing and HD DVD burning well and the burned HD DVD disk can be played by the TOSHIBA player.

Hope this helps.
