Split By Screen - VS10+

I am unable to use the option Split By Screen in the Capture step of my VS10+. It appears as this screen loads but then disappears. Do I have a setting wrong?

Hi Mel,

Do you mean Split by Scene? Split by scene is only available during capture, when you are capturing from a DV Camcorder. (See Page 46 of the users manual).

Yeah sorry I meant scene, but no, that option does not come up for me..is it possible my Sony Mini DV Camcorder is not 100% compatible with this version of ULead. I used an old version of ULead with this same carmera a few years ago, and had great success.

Hi MelD,

You can also enact Split by Scene after you have captured your video. Click on the Edit Step of the VS editor and go to your video library. Right click on the video file that you want to split and in the pop-up menu you should see a selection for Split by Scene.

I will try that...just wondered why it wasnot available to me at the capture stage.
