Freeing up space on the DVD-RW Drive

Post by Tom Whitney »

I use ULead's DVD Workshop SE 1.21 version to burn DVD-Rs. The workshop came bundled with a Canopus RES 100. Recently, I haven't been able to burn any DVDs after encoding video programs from my video E-drive, and importing them to the D-drive, which houses ULead's SE, because the D-drive properties menu shows I have no free space left there.

As far as I know, I'm not storing any video or audio programs on the D-drive itself. I usually burn what I need to DVD and then choose not to save the projects there. The ULead Library Manager shows nothing being saved there.

Anybody have any idea what's going on? Why is all that space on the D-drive full when I don't save anything to it? How can I free up some D-drive space so I can burn DVDs again?

Any guidance/ assistance would be most appreciated.

I guess you need to look at a guide on Windows, not WS.

Explore your D: drive (preferably set to View Details) to see what is taking up your space. You possibly have checked the ISO and/or DVD setup on the disk when you used WS the last time. When you find something inordinately big, check what it is and, if it's something that shouldn't be there, delete it and empty the Trash can.
