Audio setting for NTSC Country

I'm living in PAL country and convert PAL video's for my brother-in-law living in NTSC country.
I'm using VS8SE and have a choice of MPEG2 or LPCM audio. Which of the two is the most compatible for NTSC DVD players :?:

For NTSC,it would be LPCM.
