No audio when playing slideshow

When I burn a slideshow, the mp3 audio file will not play on either the tv dvd player or on my computer, even though the file itself has burned. When on the computer, the error message "this pin cannot use the supplied media type" pops while the video portion of the slideshow is playing perfectly. PLEASE HELP!
