Hi all
During a recent project i inserted a 3 sec transition between 1 clip and the next.
Now, using the same type of transition (Mask A, 5th choice along, or any other) in another project, it only allows me a transition length of 1.1 secs.
Can anyone advise me how to extend the length of the transition?

The duration of a transition can not exceed the duration of a clip on either side of it. Where you have this 1.1 sec. transition, check the duration of the clips to the left and right of the transition. Chances are you have a short clip next to it. When you inserted this transition, you should have gotten a message from the program saying that the duration of the transition will be adjusted to match the adjoining clips.
Let us know if this was your problem.
