Apparently a not very helpful answer, but one which you will thank me for, as you can gain a much better insight into how a complex software works. Read the manual! And if you complain you haven't got a copy, download it from http://ftp.ulead.com/pub/Manual/worksho ... manual.zip

The quickest and easiest way is.
Step 1. Open DVD Workshop.
Step 2. Start a New Project.
Step 3. Import your Video onto the DVD Workshop time line along the bottom of the preview screen.
Step 4. On the EDIT tab VIDEO - sub-tab there is an option
Auto Create Chapters. - The simplest is 'By fixed Interval' and then choose either every 'x' minutes or specify how many chapters you want.
Step 5. Activate the MENU tab.
Step 6. Click the Create Menu Wizard - found just above the thumbnails along the bottom of the screen. Let the wizard do most of the work for you.

As Devil has quite rightly pointed out, the best way to learn is to read the manual.

As they say: "The Devil's in the details" Didn't have the manual & did download it as suggested.

And sjj1805, thanks for your help too.

Stupid me also see the option to do just what I wanted to do in the menu wizard

I appreciate both of your responses
