Background Music

Post by Flavius »

Greetings,

So far so now the problems i had with MF3 no longer bother me, but one thing i was trying to figure out how to do was: how can i put a background music and have the song play till the end (instead of 10, 20 or 30 seconds) :?:

Another thing is, for each Menu (even if you select the same music for all menus) the song its copy again and not linked as i supose it woul be better to save more space... So, my other question: is there any way to use just one song and have it playied for all the menus without each copy for each menu :?:

Thanks,
Cya.

Don't use "Motion Menus" to play the whole song.

I don't think you can do anything about the way ULead authors the songs. Even if you use the same song, they must copy it individually for each menu. I'm not sure it takes up that much space, as it never seems to make a lot of difference in the size of my DVD when I add music to the menus.

If you are having problems with the music not playing correctly on the second, and subsequent menus, see the post on that topic near the front of the forum.

For motion menus, it will be limited to 30 sec because in DVD spec there is a 30MB size limit for the menu. If you use still menus in DVD then you might be able to use the whole song in the menu if it does not over the 30MB size limit.

Hope this helps.
